This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a charge sheet in Crime No.122 of 2016 pending on the file of the respondent within a time frame as fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after a lapse of 9 months from the date of registration of the case, the respondent did not take any efforts to file the final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer.

months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.122 of 2016.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.122 of 2016 before the Court concerned within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
