ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to pass orders based on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 27.01.2014

2. The case of the petitioner is that though he was granted six months' time to remove the dead and wind fallen trees on the basis of his earlier representation dated 24.01.2007 and the subsequent direction issued by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.2500 of 2007, he was able to remove 182 trees only out of 504. Therefore, he sought for extension of another one year for the purpose of removal of trees. While that being so, one Jebes, Forest Range Officer, Mundathurai entered into his estate, took away the trees and kept the same in the office, thereby caused heavy loss to the petitioner. The petitioner made a representation dated 27.01.2014 for taking action against the said Forest Range Officer and the same is pending before the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly conceded that the representation was sent as early as on 27.01.2014 and therefore, he seeks permission of this Court to approach the concerned authority afresh.

4. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty as prayed for by the petitioner. No costs.
