O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents No.1 and 2 herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the Petitioner and his family members and also to his property measuring an extent of 800 sq.ft, Old Survey No.313/1 Part, New S.No.658/11, situated at Bodikamanvadi Village, Authoor Taluk, Dindigul District on the basis of his representation dated 10.7.2017.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3.The dispute appears to be civil in nature. It is only on account of the dispute in relation to the property, the Petitioner has approached this Court to provide police protection. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that the parties concerned have agreed before the Police that they will approach the Civil Court for appropriate relief. The Police has rightly directed the parties to approach the Civil Court, as there is no scope for any enquiry, when the dispute is in relation to the property. 5.In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that there is no necessity to entertain this Criminal Original petition and accordingly, the same stands closed.
