O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to investigate and file positive final report in Cr.No.195 of 2015 pending on the file of the respondent police within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after a lapse of 14 months from the date of registration of the case, the respondent did not take any efforts to file the final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the respondent requires four months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.195 of 2015.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.195 of 2015 before the Court concerned within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
