ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.292 of 2024 dated 05.07.2024 pending on its file and to lay the final report within a stipulated time.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in this case and based on his complaint, the present FIR has been registered. However, without conducting proper investigation the case is still pending. Hence, this petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No. 292 of 2024 for the offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC. The investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks two months time to complete the investigation and to file a final report before the concerned jurisdictional Court. 4.Recording the same, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
