This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents, particularly, to the second respondent to register the petitioner's complaint, dated 20.11.2017 and conduct enquiry in accordance with law and subsequently, file the final report forthwith.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's complaint was enquired by the second respondent and during the enquiry, both parties had accepted the proposal for reunion, if the dispute between them is settled by elders of the family and if there is no amicable settlement, they agreed to approach the Family Court to redress their grievance and therefore, the said complaint was closed.

3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
