This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Declaration to declare the impugned requisition dated 07.07.2015, the consequential agenda dated 23.07.2015 and the resolution of the Kayalpattinam Municipality dated 27.07.2015, pursuant to the said agenda, to be illegal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned counsel appearing for the 6th respondent.

3. It is a common knowledge that the posts of President, Vice President, etc., are no more in existence and therefore, this Court is of the view that no further order is required to be passed in this petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
