O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 21.09.2016.

2. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, would submit that the dispute between the parties is purely family dispute. Therefore the compliant has been referred to the Social Welfare Officer and awaiting report from the Social Welfare Officer. He further submitted that after receipt of the said report, the respondent police will take further action in the above said complaint in accordance with law.

4. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach this Court at a later stage, if necessary.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
