Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying this Hon`ble Court to direct the IV Additional District and Sessions Court, Madurai to expedite the trial in S.C.No.300 of 2014 on the file of the IV Additional District and Sessions Court, Madurai within a stipulate time frame in the interest of justice.

ORDER: This Petition coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the earlier order of this Court and the requisition letter submitted by the Principal District Judge, Madurai vide the letter in D.No.2188/2018/dated 23.02.2018, and upon hearing Mr.C.MUTHUSARAVANAN, Advocate for the Petitioner, and of Mr.K.K.RAMAKRISHNAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, this court made the following order: By letter, dated 23.02.2018 addressed to the Additional Registrar General, the Principal District Judge, Madurai has requested further time of two months to dispose of the S.C.No.300 of 2014.

2. Considering the aforesaid request, time is extended for a further period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, to comply with the order passed by this Court, dated 24.07.2017.
