PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records relating to the impugned proceeding in D.V.M.C.No.37 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Palani and quash the same.

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records relating to the impugned proceeding in D.V.M.C.No.37 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Palani and quash the same.

2. Heard Mr.V.Angusamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has raised some grounds to quash the proceedings in D.V.M.C.No.37 of 2016, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani. Realizing that the contentions of the petitioners, who are the respondents 1 to 6 in the proceedings before the lower Court have to be gone into only at the time of trial, the only request made by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the presence of the petitioners may be dispensed with.

4. Considering the nature of the grievance expressed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the personal appearance of the petitioners is dispensed with for the present, unless or https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
