ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioners, seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam to expedite trial in M.C.No.23 of 2015 and to dispose of the same, within a stipulated time.

2. Mr.M.Senthilkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the first petitioner is the wife and the second petitioner is the daughter of the respondent and they have filed a petition, claiming maintenance in the month of September, 2015. He further submitted that though the respondent entered appearance before the Court below, he has not paid any maintenance to the petitioners and therefore, they are suffering financially. He further submitted the trial in this case has already been commenced and examination of P.W.1 was already over and now, the case is posted for respondent side evidence. Therefore, suitable direction has to be issued for the disposal of the case.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam, to dispose of the case in M.C.No.23 of 2015, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
