ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the case in C.C.No.27 of 2016, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Devakottai.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions, would submit that already two witnesses have been examined by the prosecution and now the case is posted on 27.12.2016, for examination of further witnesses. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the above submission, this Court is not inclined to quash the petition and hence, this Criminal Original Petition

is dismissed. However, the appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court is dispensed with and he is directed to appear before the trial Court, as and when his presence is required by the Court. Consequently, connected Crl.M.P(MD).No.12018 of 2016 is closed.
