O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to pass an award and consequently pay compensation to the petitioner under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, in respect of the land in Survey No. 11/1A2, Block 13, Servaikaranmadam Village, Thoothukudi District, which was acquired by the second respondent, within the time prescribed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the compensation amount of Rs.3,98,308/- has already been deposited in the pending L.E.O.P. No. 21 of 2025 before the District Principal Munsif Court, Thoothukudi. Hence, nothing further survives for adjudication in 2/5

this writ petition.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is disposed of. In the event the petitioner files any application seeking withdrawal of the said amount, the same shall be considered and disposed of on merits and in accordance with law. Further, if the petitioner seeks any enhancement, this order shall not stand in the way. No costs.
