Heard Mr. V.George Raja, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleading of the parties. 2.
This Civil Revision Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed to expedite the disposal in O.S. No. 149 of 2022 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Devakottai (hereinafter referred to as 'the Trial Court' for short).

This Court, during earlier hearing on 24.04.2024, had passed the following order:- "2.
The Subordinate Court, Devakottai shall send a report as to whether there is any impediment for conducting further proceedings in O.S. No. 149 of 2022 and if so, shall explain the reasons for the same, before the next hearing."

In furtherance to the said order, the Trial Court has sent a report dated 16.05.2024, which reads as follows:- "I respectfully submit that the suit in OS No.149/2022 was filed on 23.01.2022. The Submitted Decree Memo filed by D1, D3, D5 on 15.02.2024. Written Statement not filed by D4 on till date."
Having regard to the contents of the said report, there shall be a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Devakottai, to dispose of the Suit in O.S.No. 149 of 2022, as expeditiously as possible.
In the result, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. No costs.
