PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to direct the 3rd respondent to ensure adequate protection to the petitioners life and limbs and his family members for preserving the live standing crops in survey No.375/12 of Oliyamangalam Village, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District by using the common irrigation well in survey No.375/13 through existing power connection based on his representation dated 10.03.2025 according to law within stipulated time limit as fixed by this Court. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to direct the 3rd respondent to take action on the representation of the petitioner dated 10.03.2025.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of property in S.No. 375/12 of Oliyamangalam Village, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District. While so, the 5th respondent has caused life threat and caused disturbance to the petitioner from enjoying the said property. Therefore, the petitioner sent a complaint to the 3rd respondent and the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that due to property dispute between the petitioner and the 4th respondent, the petitioner has lodged a complaint against the private respondents and the same is under consideration and they will conduct enquiry and disposed the same within a period of one week.

4.Since the prayer of the petitioner is to take action based on the complaint of the petitioner, it is for the 3rd respondent to conduct enquiry and conclude the same within a period of one week. 5.In view of the same, this Court hereby directs the 3rd respondent to complete the enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of this order in accordance with law.
