ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate for the respondent. 2.The petitioner states that the respondent called for tenders for carrying out the petition mentioned contract work. The petitioner's grievance is that the respondent is simply sitting on the tender process and has not finalised the same. In order to direct the respondent to finalise the tender process, this writ petition has been filed.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General, on instructions, submitted that the respondent had taken a decision to go for a re-tender, since the offer received by him was not competitive. It is stated that the order to this effect has been passed and also communicated to the writ petitioner on 07.07.2020.

4.The learned Government Counsel is directed to serve a copy of the said order on the writ petitioner's counsel, so that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD).No.7450 of 2020 petitioner can challenge the same in the manner known to law, if he is still aggrieved.

5.Leaving open the writ petitioner's rights, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
