This writ petition is filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to forbear from relieving the petitioner from the post of Jewel Appraiser in the 3rd respondent Bank by purporting to fix 60 years as age of retirement.

2.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents raised the maintainability issue since the respondent Bank is a Scheduled Bank, the writ petition is not maintainable.

3.This Court is leaving the issue of maintainability open. However, this Court is directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Until the disposal of the representation, the respondents shall not restrain the petitioner from doing his work and precipitate the issue.
