This petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to appoint the independent officer other than the 2nd respondent and investigate and file final report in Crime No.191 of 2016, dated 03.10.2016 on the file of the Vasudevanallur Police Station, Tirunelveli District.

2.When the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) would submit that the 2nd respondent, after completing the investigation, closed the case as "Mistake of Fact' on 20.10.2016.

3.Recording the above submission, this petition is disposed of.
