O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to perform the programme of 'Adal Padal' on 08.06.2018 night at about 7.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. in connection with the temple festival of Arulmigu Sri Eswaran Thirukovil situated at Kudalur, Angurpalayam, Uthamapalayam, Theni District and to provide adequate police protection, based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2018.

2. According to the petitioner, he made a representation to the respondents on 04.06.2018, but the programme will be held on 08.06.2018. No order has been passed so far by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents strongly objected that on the earlier occasion, for the very same temple festival, the petitioner has filed the writ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petition in W.P.(MD).No.11413 of 2018 and obtained the order. Now, for the very same temple festival, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition and therefore, the writ petition is not maintainable.

4. However, this Court gives one more opportunity to the petitioner and directs the petitioner to place all the materials before the respondents and the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on the petitioner's representation, dated 04.06.2018. It is made clear that this Court will not express any opinion on the merits of the case.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
