PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the second respondent vide his proceedings in Pa.Mu.1884/2024/A6 dated 03.03.2025 and quash the same as illegal consequently direct the respondents to restore the patta in his favour in respect of survey number 340/2A7B for an extent of 0.23.5 hectares situated at Aluyanilai Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District, as if earlier. O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition, challenging the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, dated 03.03.2025. According to the petitioner, the petitioner has succeeded in a suit for specific performance and the decree was executed successfully. However, despite the said decree in favour of the petitioner, the Revenue Divisional Officer has passed an adverse order.

appealable to the District Revenue Officer, concerned. In fact, learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner himself has given a representation to the Tahsildar and Deputy Tahsildar on 15.03.2025, wherein he has categorically stated that he has already preferred a revision before the District Revenue Officer. Therefore, when the petitioner has already exercised the remedy available under the Statute, this Court is unable to come to the rescue of the petitioner and grant any relief. 3.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
