ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner seeks re-issuance of passport. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) points out that the petitioner is facing trial in S.T.C.No.68 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Ilayangudi.

3. I went through the contents of the FIR. The petitioner has taken part in a public agitation. The first respondent is directed to re-issue the petitioner's passport to the petitioner subject to the fulfilment of other usual formalities.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
