Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the first respondent to instruct the third respondent to register the case based on the representation dated 21.05.2018 and also to instruct the second respondent to take up investigation since he is the competent authority to conduct investigation for the offences under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Amendment Act, 2015 and to take necessary further action in accordance with law.

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to instruct the third respondent to register a case based on the representation dated 21.05.2018 and also to instruct the second respondent to take up investigation since he is the competent authority to conduct investigation for the offences under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Amendment Act, 2015 and to take necessary further action in accordance with law.

ready for submitting before the District Collector for taking further action.

3.However, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has an opportunity to place his submission before the committee as per the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989), the petitioner has not provided any opportunity to place his submission before the respondents.
