O R D E R

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and grant police protection for the petitioner and his properties in S.No.34/3A, 34/3C, 34/3E, 51/1B, 51/1D, 51/1K in Pattur village, Melur taluk, Madurai district.

2. Mr. B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the civil Court decree, representation has been made by the petitioner to provide the police protection.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that no such request has been received by the respondents Police.

5. Since the Civil Court decree is passed in favour of the petitioner, the above said representation made by the petitioner shall be considered by the third repsondent herein by summoning the petitioner as well as the private respondents herein and dispose the same within ten days from the date of appearance of the petitioner. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the outcome of the order, he is at liberty to workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
