ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner to set aside the order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.02/ B5PS/ Forecost/2025, dated 17.03.2025 while granting permission for conducting Kabadi match on 22.03.2025 and 23.03.2025 by imposing condition No.2 ie., from 6.00 am., to 6.00 pm., to conduct the event.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the second respondent passed order by imposing condition to conduct on 22.03.2025 and 23.03.2025 from 6.00 a.m., to 6.00 pm., and more than 140 teams so far enrolled for match. Therefore time is not sufficient to conduct the matches, therefore the said condition no.2 alone is to be modified.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents strongly opposed to modify the condition due to law and order issue and also practical difficulty in granting protection to the event.

Since the prayer of the petitioner is only to modify the condition No. 2, this Court considering the facts and circumstances of the case grant permission to conduct Kabadi Tournament at K.Karisalkulam, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District on 22.03.2025 and 23.03.2025 from 6.00 a.m., to 10.00.pm.,

5. With the above said modification in the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.02/ B5PS/ Forecost/2025, dated 17.03.2025 this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
