The petitioner seeks issuance of Writ of Mandamus to carry out necessary corrections in FMB relating to S.No.230/15B situated at Melathur Village, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District and issue patta in the petitioner's name.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's private patta land has been reflected as a "Community Well" in the FMB. Therefore, the petitioner has made representations for correction of the FMB on 13.02.2025 and 14.03.2025. The petitioner only seeks for disposal of the said representations, on their own merits. Though the petitioner has addressed the representations to the first respondent, I find that copy has been marked to the second and third respondents namely District Revenue Officer and Tahsildar, respectively.

3.Considering the nature of the request made by the petitioner, it would suffice to direct the second respondent / District Revenue Officer, to consider the petitioner's representations on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
