This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to expedite investigation in connection with the Crime No.353 of 2016, dated 13.04.2016 and file a final report within the period prescribed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent and perused the records.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions would submit that the respondent police after conducting proper investigation in Crime No.353 of 2016, closed the case as 'mistake of fact' and RCS notice has also been served to the defacto complainant. Further, he produced a copy of the final report before this Court.
