RESPONDENTS Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying this Hon'ble Court to call for the records pertaining to the case in Special Case No.63/2011 pending before the learned Special Court for Vigilance and Anticorruption Tiruchirappalli and quash the same.

Order : This Petition coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the earlier order of this Court and the requisition letter submitted by the Principal District Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli vide the letter in D.No.2252/2018 dated 03.03.2018 appeared of Mr.S.SIVAKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and Mr.K.K.RAMAKRISHNAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the 1st Respondent, this court made the following order:- By order dated 23.08.2017, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9561 of 2017, this Court had directed the trial Court to complete the trial in Special Case No.63 of 2011 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2. The learned Trial Judge, Tiruchirappalli, has addressed a letter dated 28.02.2018 seeking two months extension of time on the ground that the defence have filed several petitions, which require to be disposed of.

3. Accepting the submission, extension of two months time is granted from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for completing the trial in Special Case No.63 of 2011, on the file of the Special Court for Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Tiruchirappalli.
