O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the first respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.32 of 2017 and to file final report within a time frame.

2. Heard Mr.S.Sekar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Anbarasan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the records. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the complaint was registered on 05.02.2017 for the offences under Sections 147, 342, 323, 294(b) and 506(i) IPC., there was no progress in the investigation and charge sheet was also not filed. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions, would submit that if a reasonable time is given, the first respondent will be able to complete the investigation and file the final report.

5.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the first respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.32 of 2017 and to file the final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
