O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to harass the petitioners in respect of a civil dispute regarding the properties in S.No.258/3E in V.S.Kottai Village, at the instance of the respondents under guise of an enquiry for land grabbing.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the complaint given by one Ganesan against these petitioners, petition https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ enquiry is pending.

4. In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed not to harass the petitioners. The petitioners shall co-operate in the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioners against arrest.
