[Order of the Court was made by N.ANAND VENKATESH, J.] This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 to 5 to transfer petitioner's son by name Ashik Mohamed @ Al Ashik, son of Sowkathali aged about 32 years, now confined at Vellore Central Prison as remand prisoner, from Vellore Central Prison to Madurai Central Prison or Salem Central Prison or Trichy Central Prison or Dindigul District Jail or Theni District Jail by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2026.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, they learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's representation has been rejected by the second respondent through the proceedings, dated

16.04.2026 and a copy was also placed before this Court.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the above proceedings, it is left open to the petitioner to challenge the same and workout the remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
