O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking direction to the respondents to produce the person or body of his daughter, namely, S.Menaga, aged 19 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. According to the petitioner, the detenue is his daughter and she is missing from 04.07.2020 and despite lodging of complaint and registering a case in Crime No.333 of 2020, no action was taken by the respondent Police.

3. Today (i.e.01.09.2020), when the case was taken up for hearing, the detenue appeared before this Court through Video Conferencing and stated that she had love affair with one Pandi Durai for the past five years and she married him on 04.07.2020 at Sivan Temple in Sivagangai and now, they are living together in Madurai. Further, she submitted that she is not willing to go with her father / petitioner herein.
