This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned order of the first respondent dated 08.01.2024, passed in his proceedings in Che.Mu.Aa.En: 52282/Ee3/2023, and consequently, direct the first respondent to return the driving licence of the petitioner without any remarks and award costs.
2. It is informed by the learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent that already orders have been passed on 08.01.2024, pursuant to the show cause notice dated 03.12.2023, whereby the proposals contained in the impugned show cause notice, dated 03.12.2023, has been confirmed. The petitioner's licence has been suspended for a period of six months from 23.11.2023. Already substantial period of the suspension has lapsed during the pendency of the proceedings before the first respondent. Therefore, there is no merit in this Writ Petition. If at all, the petitioner can challenge the above said order or await for the period to lapse.
