ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition invoking Article 227 of the Constitution of India praying for a direction to the learned Rent Control Court (District Munsif Court), Kovilpatti, to dispose of the petition in R.C.O.P.No.6 of 2012, within a stipulated period of time.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Since the case is for a limited relief of early disposal, no notice need be sent to the respondents.

3.The revision petitioner has filed a petition in R.C.O.P.No.6 of 2012 on the file of the learned Rent Control Court (District Munsif Court), Kovilpatti, for fixing fair rent and the same is pending for the past six years without any progress. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition, seeking a direction to dispose the R.C.O.P.No.6 of 2012, within a stipulated time.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that there was huge arrears in paying the rent by the respondent. Therefore, the revision https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner has filed a petition in I.A.No.23 of 2017 under Section 11 (4) of the Act and the same is pending.

4.Considering the limited relief sought for by the revision petitioner, without going into the merits and demerits of the allegation raised by the revision petitioner, this civil revision petition is disposed of with the following direction: "The learned Rent Control Court (District Munsif Court), Kovilpatti, is directed to pass an suitable orders by issuing notice to the both parties in I.A.No.23 of 2017, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, dispose of R.C.O.P.No.6 of 2012, pending on his file, on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two months on day to day basis, without giving any further adjournment. Both the parties are directed to give their fullest co-operation for trial."

5.No order as to costs.
