ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code r/w Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No.Not known of 2016, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. Counsel for the petitioners is present. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) is also present. Heard both sides.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) states that no First Information Report has been registered so far and it is pending for enquiry. The alleged threat of apprehension is not true.

4. Considering the fact that no First Information Report is registered or no FIR is pending against the petitioners herein, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. This petition is, accordingly, dismissed, however, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with the observation that the police should not harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.
