ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb by considering the representation given by the petitioner dated. 06.02.2023.

2. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a Managing Trustee and Founder of Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan Trust, so far the religious rituals are taken by the petitioner, trouble is made by some of the people and tried to assault him, for which the above said representation was made.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the issue between the parties is not with regard to the life threat to the petitioner, but with regard to some land, which is alleged to be Government poramboke land, over which, this petitioner had put up a construction. On the basis of the complaint given by one Karunanithi, encroachment sought to be removed.
