O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first to third respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in earlier in respect of the propriety comprised in survey No.316/1 to an extent of 0.16.0 hectare situated at Nainar Kovil, Vaniya Vallam Revenue Village, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, owned by the petitioner, a suit has been filed in O.S.No.123 of 2006 on the file of the learned District Munsif, Paramakudi, in which permanent injunction was granted in favour of the petitioner. He would further submit that before making a representation, dated 12.05.2020, based on the complaint given by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.7272 of 2020 the petitioner the third respondent registered two cases against the respondents 4 and 5 in which one is in Crime No.43 of 2018 under Sections 147, 294(b) 323, 506(ii) of I.P.C. and another one is in Crime No. 115 of 2020 under Sections 506(ii) of I.P.C and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act. on the file of the third respondent police. Hence, the prayer sought by the petitioner is very much necessary to protect his life and limb.

3.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by the respondents 1 to 3 and based on which, the third respondent is going to initiate the enquiry and during enquiry if it is found that protection is required, suitable action will be taken. 4.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
