This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the first respondent to give necessary direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.28 of 2015 and to file final report within a time frame.
2. Heard Mr.A.Arul Jenifer, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Anbarasan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the records. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the case was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC., in Crime No.28 of 2015, on the file of the respondent police, there was no progress in the investigation and charge sheet was also not filed.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions, would submit that the petitioner has filed a criminal revision case before this Court, challenging the order dismissing the petition filed by the petitioner for attachment.

5. However, the pendency of the said criminal revision case is not a ground justifying the delay in the investigation. Hence, this
Court directs the second respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.28 of 2015 and to file the final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
