Prayer: This Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to allow the registration of Rectification deed in settlement deed No.272/2021 dated 24.03.2021.

This Writ petition has been filed for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to register the rectification deed that was presented by the petitioner and release the document.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the subject property originally belonged to his mother and she executed a registered settlement deed dated 12.02.2021 in favour of the petitioner. Thereafter, the Revenue Records were also transferred in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner wanted to avail a Bank loan and during the scrutiny of the documents, it was pointed out by the Bank Officials that there is a mistake in mentioning the boundaries in the settlement deed dated 12.02.2021. The petitioner immediately took steps to prepare the rectification deed in order to correct the mistake that happened while describing the boundaries and the same was presented before the respondent for registration.

W.P.(MD).No.8747 of 2021 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that the rectification deed was not registered by the respondent and no reason have been assigned. Left with no other alternative, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.
4.Heard Mr.M.Vivek, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.K.Sathyasingh, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to entertain the rectification deed document and register the same, if it is otherwise in order and necessary stamp duty and registration charges are paid. The document shall be released to the petitioner after registration.
6.This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
