Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the petitioner's earned leave surrender salary of Rs.1,96,223/- (Rupees one lakh ninety six thousand two hundred and twenty three only) with interest to the petitioner, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the directing the respondents to pay his earned leave surrender salary of Rs.1,96,223/- with interest.

2.According to him, though he retired from service as early as on 31.07.2011 and the respondents have disbursed all other retirement benefits, except the earned leave surrender salary. Till this date, such earned leave surrender salary has not been paid to the petitioner in spite of a representation having been made on 02.07.2014. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.07.2014 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
