This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the case on the petitioner's complaint, dated 17.11.2016 and proceed with the same within a time frame. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions, would submit that after enquiry, a case has been registered in Crime No.8 of 2016, for the offences under Section 498 (A) and 506(1) of IPC, and Section 4 of TNPHW Act against the accused persons, on 20.12.2016 and he produced a xerox copy of the FIR before this Court.

4. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
