O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.50 of 2017, dated 08.05.2017 on the file of the respondent police and proceed with the same as per law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) submitted that they are awaiting for expert opinion in relation to the Postmortem. Hence, there is a likelihood of some delay. However, the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) expressed that within a period of four months, the respondent will be in a position to file a final report.

4. Hence, the Criminal Original petition is allowed and the respondent is directed to file a final report in Crime No.50 of 2017, dated 08.05.2017 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
