This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police called the petitioner frequently and harassed under the guise of enquiry.

4. According to the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), based on the complaint lodged by one Meenakumari as against the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted and after enquiry, a case has been registered in Crime No.2379 of 2016, against the petitioner, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 506(ii) of IPC., and he produced a copy of the First Information Report.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), since a case is pending against the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
