This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 08.05.2018 to the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection for his life and limb. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law. 5.Considering the submission made by both parties, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall submit a copy of a representation dated 08.05.2018 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent.

6.This writ petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
