ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by Prakash seeking issuance of writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned vide C.No.R2/315/2015 dated 03.08.2015 on the file of the second respondent in connection with the Direct Recruitment for the post of Sub-Inspectors of Police (Taluk)(Men & Women) 2015 vide Advertisement No.1/15 and Notification NO.1/15 dated 08.02.2015.

2.By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4.Learned counsel for the petitioner strenuously contended the correctness of the impugned order by submitting that the petitioner is having a height of 171 cms and this has been twice confirmed by his Physical Education Teacher and also by his family doctor. As per their measurement, the petitioner has got 171 cms whereas, the petitioner took part in the selection and the respondent has wrongly measured his height as 169.5 cms instead of 171 cms. Therefore, he sought for re-measurement of his height.

5. When this Court has asked the petitioner's counsel to produce his client before this Court for re-measurement, he said his client has not come to this Court. Therefore, this Court is not able to give any order for re-measurement. This part, when the Selection Board has reached a decision on the height of the petitioner, it will be wholly impermissible for this Court to undertake any such exercise.

6. In view of the above, this Writ Petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P.s are closed.
