O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eranial, to consider and dispose of the petition filed under Section 252 of Cr.P.C., by the petitioner in C.C. No.390 of 2009.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. A case was registered against the petitioner for the offence under Sections 341, 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of I.P.C., and it was taken on file in C.C.No.390 of 2009 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eranial. The petitioner appears to have filed a petition under Section 252 of Cr.P.C., in C.C.No.390 of 2009. Since that petition is not taken up for disposal, the petitioner has filed the above Criminal Original petition for issuing a direction to the concerned Judicial Magistrate to pass orders on his petition filed under Section 252 of Cr.P.C.

4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer and the fact that the petitioner himself has filed the petition admitting the offence, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

" The learned Judicial Magistrate, Eranial, is directed to consider and dispose of the petition filed by the petitioner under Section 252 of Cr.P.C., in C.C.No.390 of 2009 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
