The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to give patta to the Petitioner in respect of his property comprised in S.No.245/1, situated in Nallamalai, Maravanmadam, Thoothukudi District on the basis on his representation, dated 25.2.2022 within the time fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.It is the case of the Petitioner that he has been in possession and enjoyment of the above said property from the year 2013 by constructing a house thereon. Based on her long possession, the Petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent on 29.10.2021 seeking issuance of free house site patta.The above said representation has not been considered so far. Therefore the Petiioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

3.Ms.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who appears for the respondents submit that the representation of the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the Petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 29.10.2021 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of 8 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
