ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Manoharan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to survey and earmark boundaries in Natham Survey No.434/11, Sivandhipatti Village, Kovilpatti Taluk, Tuticorin District. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that even though he has made an application seeking for survey and earmark the boundaries for the above said property as early as on 24.02.2014, the application has not been considered and disposed of and on the other hand, he has received proceedings dated 06.03.2014 and 20.06.2014 issued by the officers under RTI stating that his application is pending consideration.

Finally, the petitioner has also made an application on 01.12.2014 seeking for survey and earmark the boundaries of the said land. As the said representation is still pending, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition for the relief stated supra.

4.Considering the nature of relief sought for and considering the fact that the petitioner made an application as early as on 24.02.2014, the writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the respondents to consider the request of the petitioner seeking for survey and earmark the boundaries in respect of the said land and pass appropriate orders, on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
