Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue non traceable certificate to the petitioner for missing of the sale deed No. 2341/1994 dated 20.09.1994 by considering the petitioner's online complaint in CAA22050366 dated 24.03.2022 and on the petitioner's representation dated 29.03.2022.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondent to issue non traceable certificate to the petitioner for missing of the sale deed No. 2341/1994, dated 20.09.1994, by considering the petitioner's online complaint in CAA22050366, dated 24.03.2022 and the representation, dated 29.03.2022.

2.The petitioner owned properties measuring to an extent 88.66 cents out of 3.18 acres comprised in Ayan Punja S.Nos.1483/2, 1484/4, 1490/2, 1495/2, 1492/2, 1498/2, 1500/2, 1501/2, 1502/3, 1504/4, 1506/2, 1519/2, 1528/2, 1507/3, 1509/2 and 1526/2 and measuring to an extent of 9.92 acres comprised in Ayan Punja Survey Nos.1526/1 and 1526/3 vide register sale deed No.2341/1994, on the file of the Srivilliputhur Sub-Registry, Virudhunagar https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

District and the said property purchased by the sale deed registered vide document No.2341/1994. On 17.03.2022, while the petitioner was on his way to take xerox copies of the original deed, he found that it was missing and as such, he lodged a complaint before the respondent police. In fact, he has also made a paper publication for the missing document, on 25.03.2022 and also filed an affidavit for the missing document. 3.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to follow the guidelines issued by the superior officers and issue a non-traceable certificate for the missing document registered vide Document No.2341/1994 to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 4.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
