ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 22.03.2021, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for registration of the endorsement made in the lease deed dated 17.12.1976.

2.The case of the petitioner is that a lease deed was executed by one Rajammal in favour of one Sarojini ammal on 17.12.1976 and the same was registered on the file of the respondent. The further case of the petitioner is that the said lease deed was made over to one Chinnasamy on 17.04.1980. An endorsement to that effect was also made in the document. Subsequently the lease itself got terminated.

3.The petitioner made a representation to the respondent on 22.03.2021 requesting for registering the endorsement made in the lease deed. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

5. The relief sought for by the petitioner is unsustainable in law and the petitioner is trying to seek for registration of an endorsement that had taken place 46 years back. That apart, the parties concerned are also no more. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
