By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission on the basis of their representation dated 14.01.2015 to take out procession from Devakottai Panchayat Union Office to Anna Auditorium and also to hold a meeting at the same place on 6.2.2015 between 4.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m at Devakottai, Sivagangai District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The petitioner wants to take out a procession and hold a meeting to show their protest against extraction of Methane gas in selected village in Sivagangai District. According to the petitioner, though they have sought for such permission to conduct procession and meeting, the respondents have not considered the same so far and permitted them to hold procession and meeting. 4.Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the respondents are not having any objection for the petitioner to conduct a meeting at the venue stated in the petition. 5.Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that it would suffice if the petitioner is permitted to conduct meeting alone at the premises referred to in the petition.

6.Considering the above stated submissions of the respective counsel, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct the meeting at Anna Auditorium on 06.02.2015 between 4.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m at Devakottai, Sivagangai District. It is made clear that while conducting the meeting, the petitioner should maintain absolute discipline and should not give any room for complaint in any manner affecting the law and order. No costs.
